Overview
Boutique Hotel Dorer is located in a quiet side street facing Schonewald’s sunny side. The street had formerly been known as “Herrengasse” and is still popular for flaneurs. In direct vicinity of the hotel you find excellent opportunities for leisure and sports: The Black Forest with its magnificent forests and hills start right at your doorstep. If you rather relax, just stay in our garden and let us spoil you. "Petite but exquisite" is the motto of our 4-star hotel.

“Pleasantly surprised!”
We found this cosy in lace by accident, but what a find this is! Feels like you’re being transported back 50 years in time, but it n a good way. Staff is extremely friendly, and the food in the restaurant is simply delicious. Wa are already plotting to come back this winter!

Hotel Dorer is a wonderful, comfotable, traditional Black Forest hotel. We had a lovely room with a view over the valley and a good sized balcony. A small bottle of sparkling wine was a welcome gift in our room. The hotel's indoor swimming pool was great and it was also only 5 mins walk to the excellent local outdoor pool. There was a sauna area in the hotel but we didnt test that out. Dinner was on the pricey side but very well worth it. We had the seasonal menu which was amazing and the local wine was good too. Breakfast was plentful and tasty. The family who run the hotel are welcoming and very professional. There are lots of walks straight from the hotel and the helpful tourist information office is only a few minutes away. We will certainly stay again!

“Delightful Hotel Dorer🌻”
Everything, from the hostess/owner Manuella to the quaint outside and inside. Great little restaurant, delicious food. It has been in the ownership of the same family for over 80 years. Just beautiful!

Wonderful! Everything you need from a hotel. Wonderful people who care about what they provide. Nothing was too much trouble. Perfect! Secure parking if you are on a motorcycle.
