In between Königsee and Berchtesgaden. Easy to reach by public transport as well. I received a guest card which allowed free public transport and some discounts with e.g Jennerbahn during my stay. Very nice breakfast and helpful staff. Nice hotel, I can recommend. Restaurants nearby (also a Pizzeria next door)

“Accomodation at a great location, walking distance from the lake and hiking trails.”

Pension staff was very polite and hospitable. The breakfast gave a good start of the day before hiking around the mountains.

View of mountains outside accommodation. Room is spacious. Bus stops nearby, good eateries nearby (good pizza next to accommodation), a small supermart not far away. A small garden area outside room, with blooming peonies, lovely sounds of bird chirping. Accommodation is near Konigsee. The host, Mrs Ingrid, is very friendly. She ensured that we are settled in. The staff, Anna-Maria, is very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. Breakfast quantity is more than enough but same offering daily.

Everything! Ingrid is one of the best hosts I have ever come across 😀 the property is close to restaurants, grocery store, bus stops and königssee lake is just some 20-30 minute scenic walk away! I fell in love with the neighbourhood and the mountains that I wanted to extend my stay 🥹 couldn’t be happier! Breakfast is so good and fulfilling. Staff is awesome!

It was a true culinary treat to explore the flavors of the region. The staff at the hotel were exceptional in their service and hospitality. In particular, our host, Ingrid, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. She provided us with valuable tips and advice about the area, always staying in touch to address any questions or concerns we had. We were incredibly grateful for Ingrid's flexibility in accommodating our request for an early check-in and late check-out. Her willingness to accommodate our needs made our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, when we discovered that there was no hairdryer in our room, Ingrid kindly provided one to ensure our convenience. Furthermore, Ingrid and the staff were considerate of my wife's dietary needs, as she was pregnant at the time. They made sure to cater to her special requests, ensuring her comfort and well-being. I requested to try Brezeln of Berchtesgaden and the staff kindly made it available for us to enjoy during breakfast the next day. This gesture, while not freshly baked, still demonstrated their thoughtfulness and desire to make our experience memorable. Overall, our stay at this place was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of its convenient location, exemplary service from the staff, and the genuine care and attention shown by Ingrid made our visit truly memorable. We would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a humble and delightful stay in the area.

Location. Ingrid was a very warm host. Rooms large. Breakfast was very plentiful, staff friendly and helpful. So pleased we chose this quaint town, with its beautiful lake rather than Berchestgaden. So much to do in the area, such beautiful scenery and no crowds when we were there.
