Located at the foot of the Hunau, just 2 kilometres from Bad Fredeburg, this family-run comfort- and hiking hotel awaits your visit amid the beautiful forests of the Upper Sauerland region. Well-kept hiking paths lie nearby and lead you through the wonderful scenery of the Rothaargebirge Nature Park. “Exceptional in every way!”
Stunning property in nature. Beautiful lodge style hotel with incredibly friendly staff. A very unassuming accommodation. Rooms are very big, beds are large and comfortable. Pet friendly and incredibly accommodating. Many walks from the hotel for young, old and dogs. Secluded and out of the chaos of Winterberg! Sauna and gym which was small but great. The highlight of the entire stay was the food! Breakfast was perfect, dinner was incredible, can’t stop thinking about the great meals we had! Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel in the middle of beautiful nature! We stayed only one night, but we could have spend a whole week here. Great room with comfy beds. Warm welcoming by kind owners and amazing food!
