This family-run, 4-star hotel is located close to Schmallenberg in the Rothaargebirge nature park. It offers elegant rooms, an indoor swimming pool and a large breakfast buffet. “Perfect getaway and rest area”
I booked late and arrived late after a 14km hike! The kitchen was already closed, but they still made me a light meal! Ibwas only there for one night, but everything looked so good and the people were very helpful! The breakfast was very good, but as i've been to many hotels, the breakfast was standard for that kind of pricerange, so that's still excelent but not different. It might be because i chose the stirred eggs and bacon with herbs mixed in(so not very local). The outside was very nice and clean! Eventough they(landscapers) were working outside my window i only noticed when i opened the windows. So even for a short stay this was worth the max amount of stars!

“Great experience”
Room was very clean and spacious (even single room). It is better than photos that i saw. The place around hotel was beautiful. Taste of dinner was great. People in reception, restaurant..are all very very kind. I really really like this place and want to stay more if possbile.

“We were perfectly satisfied with our hotel selection and will return this year again.”
The breakfast and the dinner were very good. To swim in the pool it was necessary to make a date, so that never were more than 12 persons around.
