Overview
Set at an altitude of 1,061 metres in Schliersee, this hotel is in a tranquil location inaccessible by cars and is located directly beside a cable car station. It features an on-site restaurant, a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the mountain. Each room is fitted with a TV. The Schliersberg Alm features free WiFi throughout the property. A full breakfast and cable car ride is included in the rate. Guests are welcome to use the sauna year round and the outdoor pool in the summer months. The area is popular for skiing. The hotel also offers bike hire upon request. Please note that you cannot reach the hotel by car. A cable car runs daily from 08:30 until 22:00 and hotel guests can use it free of charge.

“A secret haven of Bavarian 'Gemütlichkeit'”
Perfect location, beautiful views, excellent service, breakfast included everything you would need for the start to the day, food and drink was plentiful and perfectly represented the Bavarian cuisine, infinity pool was unique with a backdrop of the lake and Austrian Alps.

“Beautiful Hotel”
This hotel is on top of the mountain overlooking the town and lake. To get to the hotel one has to use the cable car, which is an experience by itself.

“It was phenomenal”
We absolutely loved our stay at the Schliersberg Alm. The magic begins on arrival, when you park your car at the bottom of the hill and get the cable car to the top - the only way to access the hotel. (Or hike up, if you feel like doing that with your luggage). The views of the lake and mountains are absolutely stunning, and we had a great view from our room. The hotel has a restaurant, and a great spread for breakfast. We were lucky to go in low season so we were able to secure a table with a view for both meals. The staff were friendly (which not always a given in this part of the country) and were happy to accommodate our special request. There are lots of activities available: trampolines, a pool, even a summer bobsled route all the way down the hill. The sauna was a special highlight for us - a private room bookable by the hour at no extra cost. Something to be mindful of is that the reception closes at 6pm, so make sure to get your bookings and requests in before then. Will be happy to come again! “A delightful experience through and through ...”
Stunning view, friendly, service-minded staff, excellent facilities. The location can normally only be reached by a funicular. When heavy winds prevented its operation, as we were about to leave, the hotel organized a car to take us down to the valley (on a path that only experienced drivers would be able to use). Kudos to the driver and the hotel.

“Just perfect.”
The staff are so nice and helpful. The view is spectacular. There’s a sauna, which is amazing at the end of the day. Worked from there, the wifi was reliable. Would recommend for a weekend alone to connect to yourself or to work or to go with friends or family. Great place for kids.
