Overview
Just 150 metres from Lake Schliersee, this charming guest house features spacious rooms with balconies overlooking the Bavarian Alps. It has a large beer garden beside the village maypole. Individually furnished rooms with cable TV, safety deposit boxes and hairdryers are offered at the Hotel Terofal in Schliersee. Rooms are warmly decorated with deep red carpets and solid wood furniture, and some feature hand-painted bed frames and wardrobes. German specialities and international favourites are served in the Terofal’s rustic dining areas with wooden panelling. Guests can also dine in the beer garden, which overlooks the village maypole. A 5-minute walk takes you to Schliersee Town Hall and the Bauerntheater Theatre. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, cycling, climbing and winter sports. Within a 15-minute drive are the Funpark Firstalm, Spitzingsee Ski Resort and Sudelfeld Ski Resort.

We regularly visit Terofal hotel and are always super happy with everything. Of course the decor is a bit outdated but still it somehow fits into the environment. Location could not be better, service is super friendly and the breakfast is just outstanding.

“Very beautiful”
Very great surprise for this hotel, it is very beautiful outside and quite typical inside with all comfort.. Our 4 people room was really big and with a very nice view. Restaurant was also very good with reasonable prices.

A great stop on our way south. The location is excellent, very near the lake. The room was very spacious (we received an upgrade), clean and outlooking the lake. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good!

“I loved it, quite, good location, just five minutes from the train station and the lake.”
A fantastic hotel, just a five minute walk to the lake (left or right!) and to which I will return in the near future. The staff were fantastic, and it was a pity I stayed only one night. The evening meal was superb, the breakfast abundant. The room was of a very good size with a balcony and a large led TV with many German stations. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very usable. A welcome bottle of fizzy water was waiting for us in the room. Good Internet.
