Overview
Located in Spitzingsee, this Alpine-style hotel offers a sauna with relaxation room, and a traditional restaurant. Guests enjoy excellent views of the surrounding Bavarian Alps and beautiful Spitzingsee Lake. All comfortably furnished rooms at the Hotel Gundl Alm feature elegant wooden furnishings, a flat-screen TV. There is a balcony in all double rooms. Visitors are invited to relax with a professional massage or enjoy free use of the the sauna, which is open daily between 17:00 and 20:00 in the winter and on request in summer. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Storage for ski equipment is also available in a heated room in winter, and bicycle storage is provided in winter. Visitors enjoy a buffet breakfast and a selection of fine Bavarian specialities. The outdoor terrace, elegant restaurant, and country-style parlour with open fireplace all offer beautiful mountain views. The Spitzing Bar is open each year from late-October until early-March. Gundl Alm is an ideal base for skiing, hiking and cycling. It is surrounded by 25 km of ski-slopes and just 200 metres from the Taubenstein ski lift and 900 metres from the Stümpfling/Sutten ski lift. In summer, guests can swim in the lake, just 50 metres away.

“Relaxing stay in great location!”
Great location, laid back staff, delicious restaurant menu, good parking available, nice breakfast included. Bed and pillow were comfortable and bathroom was very clean.

Sauna only open untill 8pm, therefore could not make use of the facility. Coffee machine asked for money , even though you can have coffee for free. Room was pretty basic, but the beds were comfortable.

“Perfect”
I booked a last minute 1 night vacation for my free day. And it was absolutely amazing for the price we paid. I enjoyed my 1 day vacation to the fullest. There was so much to do. The view of the lake was great.

“Clean lake”
I had to make an urgent meeting and I chose this hotel to stay. From the first moment I walked in, the staff took great care of me and did their best to have a comfortable conversation. “Everything is perfect”
Everything is so above my expectations, it has become a hotel that impresses me enought to have me write a very detailed article. First of all, the taste and variety in the dishes is enormous, as if they have brought together gourmet restaurants of all kinds of cuisines. In addition, thanks to the service personnel, you can receive service in a fast and hygienic way.

“Perfect for what we needed to with helpful staff”
Location was good for attending a family wedding. Village was lovely but not a lot was opened. Breakfast was good, and also food at the restaurant.
