The Hotel Ruhekrug is in Lürschau, just outside the historic Viking town of Schleswig in the Himmelsauge Nature Park. It offers country-style rooms, a traditional restaurant and a large garden. All of the rooms at the Hotel Ruhekrug feature a TV, telephone and private bathroom with shower. The Ruhekrug’s restaurant area includes a bar, a conservatory and a large beer garden which is open during the summer. Homemade cakes and coffee are served during the day. The surrounding nature park is ideal for cycling and hiking. Schleswig’s city centre is a 5-minute drive from the Ruhekrug.

“Relaxing, quiet stop over in fabulous location. Perfect for touring this part of Germany/Denmark”
Fabulous location, easy to find and close to main roads - the grounds were worth a walk in themselves, left to nature, just lovely. Very friendly gracious staff, accommodating English very well. Good buffet breakfast, nice big old style room.

Landgasthaus as you would expect it, staff present until 9 pm including restaurant. Ample parking space, especially after dinner time. Room very much OK for relatively low rate, dinner absolutely fine. Kind staff.

“Nice little hotel/restaurant.”
It was located on the outskirts of the town I wished to visit so was ideal location for me. The restaurant was very good as was the breakfast in the morning. The staff were very welcoming.

Very warm, friendly and welcoming staff, great (and historical) location for visiting beautiful Schleswig or for having a good night's rest in a very peaceful environment while on the way to Scandinavia (as were we...).
