This hotel in the scenic resort of Schleching is located at the foot of Mount Geigelstein, the highest of the Chiemgauer Mountains. The beautiful towns of Salzburg and Berchtesgaden, and the Chiemsee and Königsee lakes are all within a 60-minute drive from Zur Post. The Austrian border is just 10 km away.

“Cute place!”
The place is great for a couple nights, in the area you can do some hiking or use it as a base to explore the lakes in the area. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The food in the restaurant is good!

The accommodation is located in a small town but everything you need is nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is generous.

“OK for one night”
We stayed here a couple of times, on our way to Austria. With time the breakfast got better, the TV larger. Parking lot in front of the hotel.

“Nice and relaxing stay”
Incredible location in the Bavarian alps. Very nice and friendly staff, they definitely went the extra mile to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Very good breakfast! There are vegan options on the resturant menu.
