“Quiet rest in a beautiful historical building”
This place is nice, beautiful but simple, secluded but not too much, with character and authenticity. The fact that they have their own restaurant allows guests to enjoy themselves on the spot without using their car.

Super friendly host, magical castle, got a nice tour through the castle at the end, absolutely loved it! The room is beautiful and clean. The only downside was the heat in our room, which wasn't hot enough.

“Greatest combo of hospitallity, comfort and history for that price level!”
The location, attention for detail and hospitality offered by the host and his wife were nothing short of excellent and impressive. The location itself, the facilities, the history, the renovations were simply breathtaking. It was a real pity we only had time for a short stay. I would have loved to spend some more time here (which we are certainly going to do in the future). It was a wonderful combination of sincere hospitality and breathing down on you quite pleasantly. Items which needs the "modern touch" like bathroom and stuff do really have that, state of the art! Rest is all wonderful history, great combo! I liked it at least.

“A real fairytale Castle…”
This castle gives you the true experience of living in a real castle as the owners have carefully preserved the character of this timeless beautiful property. I have stayed at many castles and palaces around the world but most of them feel very standardized and commercial, whereas this property feels like your own little kingdom. One needs to understand that this is an 800 year old property so it cannot be perfect like a modern hotel but the owners are very lovely, enthusiastic and caring people who will go out of the way to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and such an attitude is what makes staying here all the more special. The landscape around this castle is like heaven, it’s a dream that cannot be captured in pictures and such beauty needs to be seen and appreciated with your own eyes. The owner gave us a private tour of the castle explaining it’s deep history. It takes a lot of courage and hard work to run such a Hotel and we are highly appreciative and thankful to the owners who “offer” such an experience that one would remember for the rest of their lives. We had the most beautiful suite with lots of antiques and paintings and a stunning view outside, and despite being old the room’s character was meticulously preserved but the best part was the Bedding, it was extremely comfortable. After staying at this beautiful castle we feel very very spoilt and would definitely be going back for a longer stay next time.

Terborgh Castle is fairytalelike. You go back in the time of the Buckriders and dungeons. A unique experience that is recommended to everyone who wants to visit South Limburg.

very friendly and helpful owner’s! Beds were also very good. Surroundings are beautiful, we made a nice walking trip directly from the accommodation.
