“A warm welcome in the Harz mountains”
This was a very happy place to stay as it is so welcoming, with all the little touches that make a property memorable. The welcome was warm and friendly. The rooms are very simple but there is a large and cosy living room and facilities for making tea or coffee. We were very happy that we had chosen for the buffet breakfast as it was beautifully presented and delicious. Very much a home from home and highly recommended.

This place was an absolutely wonderful discovery. I was initially sceptical, but from the moment we arrived it turned into one of the best holidays we’ve had. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and everything was spotless and arranged with style.

“Perfect for Kurzurlaub”
The staff was very friendly and kind. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for many hiking trails. Overall a wonderful experience.

As a pension in an older building the facilities was not overwhelming but the hospitality of the two managers was incredible. We felt very welcomed and in every step of the stay we was met with open arms. Really a charming place in a quiet hiking area.

The breakfast was delicious, I would have had more food if I had more space for it :D I slept very well overnight, although I was also super-tired from over 20km of a mountain hike - did awaken feeling 'well-rested' though :).

“Full-hearted recommendation.”
The staff were wonderful. The self-service honesty beer was great to sit outside. Breakfast was great. The room was spacious (if a little spartan). 100% recommend.

They have very friendly and helpful staff, very good and not too expensive breakfast, even with vegan sausage and cheese. Beds were very comfortable and the shared facilities were clean and enough to not produce a queue. The hiking path is right behind the house. Perfect stay all in all.

“Perfect place after a long hike!”
The staff is very helpful and kind. We love that there is still some business run upon trust. The breakfast was also very delicious. After a long hike, it was a perfect stay. We even wanted to run the BBQ, but unfortunately the supermarket in the town closes a bit early. It was the night of the meteor shower, couldn't have been a better place than this naturist place!

Stayed only for one night. I liked the room. It was small but nice and clean with all the needed essentials. Everything was working well. Even though outside it was pretty hot, the temperature in the room was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was very delicious.
