One of the best hostels in Europe i stayed in..great location,super clean,very comfy beds,nice and friendly people and very good breakfast buffet..hard to leave this beautiful place.

Staying at Schaan-Vaduz Youth Hostel was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hostel is very practically organized and kept very clean. Clean sheets and towels are provided, and there are good lockers available for storing your belongings. The breakfast is a continental open buffet. There is not a huge variety, but it is decent and sufficient. If you would like to prepare or take extra food from the breakfast buffet, there is an additional charge. There is also the possibility to order takeaway lunch. The hostel is located in a beautiful area surrounded by nature. Already from the property itself, you can enjoy stunning mountain views while having breakfast. I highly recommend taking time to walk in the surrounding nature. About 3–4 km from the hostel, you can reach a beautiful viewpoint with the bridge that marks the border between Liechtenstein and Switzerland, allowing you to cross over and continue your walk into Switzerland. There are shops not too far from the hostel, and several bus lines are available to take you to stations and the city center, though travel time depends on your destination. It is good to know that you may need to pay a tourist tax of around 1.5 Swiss francs. If you pay in euros, an extra commission may be charged, and the remaining change is usually given back in Swiss francs. There is a large common hall where you can sit, relax, read, or have conversations. This is also where breakfast is served. The only thing I found slightly disturbing was that the radio was playing there continuously 24/7. I mentioned this to the staff, as it would be nice if it were switched off from time to time — especially during breakfast and in the evenings — so guests can better enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the quiet atmosphere.

Kind and helpful reception people. Nicely and comfortably designed hostel. Very good breakfast, great and healthy choices. Good and relaxed feeling.

Lovely location and very clean. Very good cold breakfast and a wide range of teas/ coffees included with breakfast. Other meals were available as were drinks and snacks to purchase. Close to bus routes. I made the most of the free bus pass.

Extremely comfortable bed, tidy room, great breakfast provided. Front desk staff very helpful and polite and check in and out were easy (make sure you do the check in stuff online before you arrive, it will speed the process up for you).

Dear team, As I talked with you at the accommodation, this is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. The staff was very kind. Regarding the price I have paid all put together, around 59 euros. It is super high in my point of view because I am a regular tourister in the EU, I can estimate how much the room rent should be for 1 night. In my view I should have paid max 45 euro-:). Really well managed and thought through. The entrance is glass fronted and welcoming. There’s a large seating area with tables and a vending machine with drinks and snacks. It all feels new and clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful, organising gluten free bread for the morning. Breakfast was good. The room was quiet, clean and spacious (I stayed in a single with two beds) They send you a welcome pass via email although it does not always come through quickly.

“The best, most convenient and rewarding place to stay in Vaduz”

The Schaan-Vaduz Youth Hostel was more than I expected when I arrived. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful, being able to answer all my questions and just giving a great sense of being welcomed. The common area was great, the breakfast was abundant and tasty, and the best thing was the included welcoming card that gave free bus fares and excellent discounts at museums and attractions. Schaan-Vaduz Youth Hostel goes above and beyond to make your time in Liechtenstein as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful, peaceful location, modern building with clean and private amenities. The staff was really helpful and went above and beyond. Great choice for breakfast with beautiful views. In walkable distance from Vaduz and Schaan.

Super clean, nice open buffet style breakfast, close to the Vaduz city centre... Also, they give you male/female only rooms if you like.

Vegan food included in their breakfast buffet (oat milk, vegan yoghurt, vegan butter, fruit and cereal, chocolate powder, etc). Their coffee machine even has vegan latte and vegan cappuccino. Very clean and very comfortable.
