The beds are amazing, very big, clean and offer a lot of privacy. The location is perfect, close to the center and the beach. The terrace with the swimming pool is perfect to refresh with the view on the sea. The reception staff is really nice and helpful, especially Oliver!

“Exquisite Rooftop View however not clean spaces”

Some of the staff were exceptional- especially Oliver & Said who spoke exceptional English. The roof top view is unique & exquisitely beautiful. Great pool which was cleaned daily by male staff. I was 5 days in a room with 2 beds with 2 friends. The beds were clean & comfortable. The place was quiet. HOWEVER our room was only cleaned when we insisted & it was only cleaned minimally at best. In the dorm room where I stayed for another 5 nights, the floors & washroom were filthy & only barely cleaned once while I was there with 1 person's insistence.

Best Hostel in Sayulita – A Hidden Gem! I can’t say enough good things about Casa Pepe! I originally booked for just one week and ended up extending three times—I just couldn’t leave. The female dorm beds are amazing: you get a bigger-than-usual mattress tucked into a stylish concrete cabin with a curtain, which gives you so much privacy and comfort. It’s easily the best dorm setup I’ve ever experienced. Casa Pepe also has a free coworking space for guests, which was perfect for getting some work done. The upper deck has a gorgeous view and the pool is a great spot to cool off and relax. If you book the breakfast, it’s absolutely delicious and definitely worth it. The vibe here is so warm and welcoming. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. There are also lots of fun activities—like making fresh guacamole or learning to craft the perfect mojito. The location is perfect: just a short walk to the main beach and right near the center of Sayulita, but still peaceful and quiet at night. I’ll 100% be coming back to Casa Pepe. It’s more than a hostel—it’s a little sanctuary in paradise.

The beds are really comfy. Breakfast is nice (but don’t take the one with eggs and potatoes, they are not properly cooked). The vibe is nice and you get a welcoming drink.

“The perfect place”

We stayed at Casa Pepe in Sayulita for over a week as a couple(May and Valeria), and we had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Kevin, the manager, was incredibly kind and helpful — he made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded us to a better room simply because it was available. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. A special shoutout to kat and Victor from the surf school — they were fantastic teachers and super friendly, making our time in Sayulita even more memorable. We highly recommend Casa Pepe to anyone visiting Sayulita. The vibe, the people, and the service were top-notch. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Loved the location and general vibe of the hostel. The staff were amazing and the food was good for the price. Very central and not too loud but close enough to the party if that's what you want, otherwise it's pretty chilled. I stayed for 12 nights and would stay again! Pool area was very nice. Great big, comfortable beds!

The options for breakfast were fantastic, and the coffee was delicious. The rooftop pool was a treat as swimming is really not an option in the high surf. Casa pepe was easy to get to, and close to all amenities.

Fantastic experience! Excellent service by all staff! They go above & beyond for their guests. I have never experienced a hostel quite like this one, every single thing is so well thought through. Just exceptional!! I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for more of a hotel/hostel stay. And the breakfast, oh my gosh, absolute quality, and the view of the ocean, next to it’s rooftop pool & yoga shala 👌 Amazing!!

The location.

The place is clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and always there to answer questions and help you out. Took some surfing lessons and the instructors were great. It was my most successful session so far. The breakfast was very good and there are lots of options for activities. I really enjoyed it here!

Totally silent after 23:00. Dorm beds are incredibly comfortable, with the curtains you feel like in your own room, able to charge 3 device inside your bed, with light and additional locker in bed. Have never slept so good in a hostel. Huge locker in room for big backpacks. Private bathroom in dorm. Everyone super respectful Breakfast was delicious but could be more. All installations super nice. Staff really friendly. Best location. Away from the noise of the center but still close enough to walk back and forth during the day.
