Amazing place to stay, we loved everything! The apartment is comfortable, spacious with a great kitchen, the filtered drinking water tap was a bonus. Loved the full width sliding doors that open the whole room onto a big balcony, gorgeous lush views and lots of sunshine. Definitely worth paying a little extra for the apartment over the studios. The location was perfect, a few mins walk to the beach or the lively main square, yet Casa Makawe feels like an oasis away from it all. A little store across the street stocks essentials, and lots of bars and restaurants around. Everything is within walking distance. We felt really safe at this location and the staff went above and beyond for all the guests. The highlight is the rooftop pool of course! We spent many happy hours up there. Loved how it is adults only, it meant the pool terrace was super relaxing and chilled. We will be back!

The location is perfect, on a pretty cobblestone street and just a short walk to the beach, the plaza, and lots of great cafés and bars, but still peaceful and quiet. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar; it was a relaxing place to hang out and had a great view over the town. The photos are accurate—the amenities look just like what’s advertised.

Huge room and an awesome rooftop pool! Close to the beach and all the action in downtown Sayulita. Having the Sur38 pool service is also a nice treat!

The pool was quite nice - a little smaller than photos depicted but a nice temperature Sun deck was also quite nice. Shower was good.. Bed was comfortable but small.

The room was great, everything was essentially as pictured and the building was quiet. Everyone was friendly and the location was perfect!

Great resting point of my journey! Juan was quick to respond to any questions, roof top pool was amazing!! Room was comfy and had all the little amenities needed. People were lovely who stayed there and the restaurant was v good that was attached!

“We had a nice stay in this building once we changed rooms to a brighter and larger one.”

The location of the building was very good. Far enough away not to be noisy but close enough to the main areas with restaurants, bars etc... We wound up changing rooms after 7 nights to a larger, brighter room facing the street. It was great! lots of space, a couch, well-appointed kitchenette. The rooftop area with infinity pool and chaises was great! The breakfast was in the restaurant at the bottom of the building. It was very good. The staff of the building and the restaurant were very responsive!

Very close to the main plaza… but still far enough so you can’t hear all the loud noise at night. There isn’t a check in lobby… it was a little complicated at first getting inside. I got in because another guest knew the entrance code for the front gate. Even then when I went inside I had to speak to someone at the restaurant downstairs to contact the person to show me to my room. But it was quick. I would suggest just going directly into the restaurant to ask for someone to help you with. I was only there 3 days so I there was no cleaning done but that’s fine. The pool rooftop is amazing. Very comfortable and almost every time I went up there it was empty. Good property to stay at. Very private.

Great place will stay again. Only issue is keep the pool open later and more pillows on the bed. Juan was great!
