Breakfast was amazing, staff were wonderful, room was comfortable and the pool was great. Located just 5 minutes away from town, a nice walk, away from the noise. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Everything was perfect , the room size was big, everyday we had room service, nice fan and AC, the kitchen tap water was filtered so we didn't need to buy water , the staff were so nice and friendly , breakfast was great , the pool and lounges were perfect, the room had everything you need ( blow dryer , iron, smoothie maker , two different coffee maker , kitchen ware , nice body lotion, even Beach blanket It was a great and lovely stay 😊

Very Beutiful serenity at a Mexicain charm

We were there for 10 days. We liked the cleanliness and quietness of the whole house and of the garden area with the pool. The staff was very attentive. We enjoyed the late breakfasts (until 11 am) and became friends with the cool house dogs Leica and Maya. Thanks to the friendly and attentive personnel Martin, Maria, Oswald and Anton.

“A delightful, affordable oasis in Sayulita”

Casa de la Ballena is a wonderful oasis in Sayulita. Only a 10min walk from the main beach, yet a world away -- no outside noise, dust, or mosquitos! The pool and lounge chairs in the central courtyard are well maintained, and beach towels and blankets are provided at no extra charge -- nice! The rooms are modern with small kitchenettes -- perfect if you like to make the occasional meal and stay indoors for dinner. The hotel Manager, Martin, and his team were friendly and happy to accommodate early arrival or late departure. We can't recommend this place enough!

I love everything about this hotel. Feels like home but at the same time such a luxurious place. Everyone in service was amazing (specially Martin, the guy in charge). I couldn’t recommend enough this place. The location, everything.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Casa de la Ballena, even with 5 days of rain. The rooms, pool, hot tub and grounds were beautiful. The perfect relaxing environment. The hotel was also in a great location, close enough to easily walk to town but far enough to be quiet in the evening during sleeping time. What made our stay perfect was the on-site hotel manager, Martin. Martin was an outstanding host and helped us with any issues we had, from driving us to town to find an IT store to fix our dead cell phone, helping secure parking for our golf cart rental and arranging airport transportation. He made sure we were happy with all of our time at the Casa de la Ballena. The hotel was a special place with special staff. And, the breakfast is awesome, with many delicious options.

Beautiful property. Very well maintained and managed by Martin. A little haven in Sayulita, close to the centre but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend this property. The rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable and kitchenette well equipped.

Our stay at Casa de la Ballena was wonderful. Martin was super welcoming and accommodating. The free breakfast offering was generous. The grounds were immaculately kept. The hotel is a short 5min walk from the beach and downtown Sayulita which I appreciated because it was quiet enough but still close to the action.

Great location that's just outside of the centro, but still quiet and peaceful at night. Gorgeous facilities, superb staff, and the complimentary breakfast was very good.

I liked everything about Casa Ballena. Big, well equipped and comfortable rooms look on to a peaceful oasis of the garden and pool. The manager Martin was a constant presence, always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a surprisingly big choice. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I visited Sayulita in future

The property is located a couple blocks from the extremely busy downtown of Sayulita which allows you to retreat and relax away from the noise.
