“Good in general although some improvements needed MI”

Quiet location close to entrance to the national park with easy pickup. Hotel can arrange safari trips and Fort/Temple visit. Comfortable room containing everything you need including a fridge. Excellent and plentiful food in the restaurant on half board. Good choice at breakfast. Well stocked bar. Nice pool when cleaned. Very attentive and friendly staff who tried their best.

Breakfast can be improved with addition of more dishes.

Good ambience

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The garden was well maitained and lovely to spend an afternoon in the sun.

Breakfast spread was good. It had many options in veg. Location is very good, all safari vehicles pass through this place, so they pick you on the way to safari.

Front counter staff were always pleasant and ready to help. They helped me print out the boarding pass for my safari. They are around 24/7. They also kind to allow me late checkout by an hour. All gypysies and canters pass by the hotel for safari. So once you get your guide's no, you can call them for a pick up from shani. After safari you can get down here as well as all canters and gypsies head back the same way. Food was tasty and fairly priced.

“Decent stay”

Likes: location, service, cleanliness, food and view from cottage rooms deserve a 10/10 rating. Dislikes: cottage rooms - too bright - we couldn’t keep the room dark during the days and nights as the curtains were too thin. Give it was sunny and hot summers, it made our sleeping pretty difficult. We had to put up extra towels on the window to make it dark. - no toiletries were provided except for a small soap. The shampoo, soap dispensers were empty, no brush or toothpaste. - the pool wasn’t clean. We had to request the staff to clean it up. Although the service was prompt. - baby friendly food wasn’t available. We requested for softened rice but they couldn’t understand they gave us normal rice. We requested for baby friendly khichdi but they couldn’t prepare it. It was helpful to carry homemade food. - no activities as stated in the hotel details - we expected entertainment in the evenings. Looking at that we planned our stay with family but we were sad to see it wasn’t there. ——————- All in all it was a decent stay. Wish the above mentioned discomforts are taken care of in the future.

“I would rate this resort 12/10 if I could!!!”

What an amazing stay!! We came from Delhi and Jaipur where we have not appreciated our hotels that much. But this resort in Ranthambore was so much better we expected, everything was so perfect. The atmosphere was really relaxing and quiet. The staff was attentive to our needs and brought us toilet paper, water everyday without asking for it! Never seen that in India during our trip. Waiter Dikhush meena at the restaurant was very kind and helpful. The food was sooo delicious, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner and never been disappointed, the portions are really big! It was so nice to relax at the swimming pool too. I had one deep tissue massage at the spa and it was really professional. We will 100% recommend this resort. Thank you to Shani Vilas staff for making our stay enjoyable!

Rooms were very spacious, food was excellent and staff was quite courteous. Special shout out to Manish who made breakfast for kids at 6am before our safari.
