“The place to be with outstanding lake view by the lake”

Well, what a perfect place. First of all, I was driving from Tampere heading towards te hotel and told them I could not get there at check in time. When I got there, the bedroom key was on the reception desk with my name, they saw me driving the car in and came to welcome me and it was already after 10 PM. The bedroom was alright, not that big, but very comfortable as the bathroom and shower. Nice and quiet place, away from city center in a peaceful atmosphere. Besides the lak, with to piers to go in and places to swim (as I was short on time, did not have time for it what I really regret). Breakfast was all right as well, with many options, fast and stable internet and lots of parking spots in the property and lovely and carefull staff. The cost benefit was PERFECT! Strongly recommend and I would be back EASILY someday for a dive on that lake.

Norppa resort is located in a quiet forest location. It is an ideal place to stay if you want to relax and do nothing or travel around the Savonlinna area and discover new sights. Breakfast each morning is buffet style with a reasonable selection of food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back, hopefully 2026.

We really recommend this accommodation - very beautiful and cozy apartment with comfortable facilities including sauna in a quiet place by the lake, excellent breakfast and very pleasant and kind host.

Perfect little place in the woods, close to Savonlinna, next to the lake. The staff is very friendly, offered me an upgrade and I could use the washing mashine. Loved it so much that I stayed longer. Would definetly come back and recommend it to others.

The hotel met our expectations, as we wanted accommodation in a natural location. Friendly and helpful staff, clean room and quiet surroundings. Hearty and delicious breakfast included in the price.

The location of the resort is stunning, with a lake right in front that you can also access with a small boat. We had the opportunity to have a barbecue and to use the hotel's bicycles.

Clean and equipped apartment with spacious living room, terrace and sauna. Beautiful and peaceful environment in nature. There waa possibility of grilling. Breakfast was sufficient.

Breakfast was better than expected, croissants, karelian pies, yoghurt, eggs, different juices, coffee, fruits, sausages, breads. The area was calm and pretty, could be good for outdoors activities.

Everything I would imagine from my winter stay in Finland. Wonderful landscape, quiet, picturesque, saunas by the lake, wooden cabins, woodland. I will definitely come back and in fact cannot wait to come back. Staff were so friendly even though it was so cold and they did not have many other guests. Great memories from this place. I’m glad I stayed there. Thank you
