“Great hostel, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast.”
Breakfast was amazing, with lovely homemade treats. The staff were always very friendly. The place had real charm. Despite the simplicity of the rooms and facilities (it is a hostel, after all), everything worked, everything was clean and there were special little touches in decor and at breakfast. You really didn't mind the showers and the toilets being shared by everyone else on your corridor.

More like a hotel than a hostel from all other aspects than the rooms being without own bathroom. Breakfast was great. Nice location for visiting Kolovesi and Linnansaari national parks.

The old house and the lovely, very peaceful and beautiful environment. The people who run the place are fantastically friendly. The breakfast is much above anything you could expect, including special homemade treats. The rooms are next to ascetic, but there is everything you need for staying overnight, and you go to bed and wake up hearing birds sing! In the morning I could see from my window a highway of swallows , lots of small birds flying around and singing, and in a field, a quite a rare sight for someone living in a city: a crane walking peacefully, finding something to eat.
