Overview
Idea Hotel Plus Savona is a brand-new hotel with a striking colourful facade made of glass. It is set in Savona's Le Officine multi-purpose centre with plenty of shops. It offers a lounge bar. We liked it here, great value and as we stayed only one night and we were happy with everything, there’s really nothing to dislike. Maybe just that some gluten free option for the breakfast would be great. But other than that from staff to comfy bed, all was great.

“Great for one or two nights”
Staff was great, made sure I could check in a little earlier, which was a bonus for me. Breakfast was diverse, plenty to choose from, location is near shopping centre which is convenient, but a bit far from trainstation or port, if you are not good at walking.

It was very clean and the staff were helpful. We knew what we'd booked and it was exactly what we'd expected. Parking was under cover and free. No Bar, which had been advertised but a lovely bar only 5 minutes walk away.

“Wouldnt stay again...”
Thank you to the young reception guy who ran outside to talk to some angry taxi driver twice and later rearranged a different taxi when the mad one drove away without us. The only nice thing about this hotel is this guy at the reception.

Located near shopping centre, parking is under neath or in the open shopping centre carpark. Room was comfortable with a view towards the port. Breakfast was small selection but enough.

“Good location”
The staff at the front desk were great, check-in was easy, and check out was good. Breakfast was fulfilling. The receptionist called a taxi for us. Great overall service. The hotel is connected to a shopping centre. We found it convenient to the cruise port of savona.
