“Great house but warm weather essential”

The owners are really friendly and always helpful. The garden is great, but what you really need is warm weather for this place. We spent a week at the house (beginning of March) and due to rain and cold weahter we were not able to really enjoy our stay. Which is of course no fault of the owners. However, it was really cold inside since the house is heated only for some hours during the day/evening. This is not enough to get the house warm. Especially the bathroom (without heater) is cold and towels do not try.

This is a truly beautiful place created by wonderful and welcoming owners, surrounded by greenery and nature. You can clearly see how much work, care, and passion have been put into every detail of the property. The atmosphere feels almost historical, which makes the stay very special and unique. The value for money is excellent, and the whole experience feels authentic and thoughtfully designed.

Home from home Peaceful The bed is the comfiest ever We used the BBQ every day! We lit the fire every evening. Wonderful garden The oranages lemons and apricots were amazing. The hosts Lara and Victor are lovely people and even got our 12 year old a birthday present which was so kind We went to the attractions in the south most days with the kids and returned to our Haven in the evening for food and games. If you like nature, your food and your sleep this is it!!

I really loved Mr. Vítor and Mrs. Lara’s enthusiasm—it was truly contagious. Mr. Vítor kindly reminded me to be careful not to slip, and Mrs. Lara even picked fresh pomelo for me. They shared so many interesting details and were incredibly warm and friendly. I stayed in the little red house in the garden, which was absolutely fabulous! The flowers were in full bloom, making the experience even more beautiful. Since my Chinese cell phone number wasn’t registered on WhatsApp, but they responded message to my emails and even picked me up. Communication wasn’t always easy due to the language barrier, which led to some misunderstandings, but I believe it will only get better in the future. I really hope to visit again next time!

“Tranquil and clean mountain retreat”

We stayed in the big family house for six days while day-tripping all over Tenerife. The hosts are supremely hospitable, helpful, and unobtrusive. The house is truly beautiful. There are adequate kitchen facilities, a spacious living toom, three very comfortable beds upstairs, and an en suite bedroom with stunning views. And the entire house was very, very clean. Waking up there is a perfect way to begin any day. Sitting in front of the fire is a perfect way to end any day. There are good paved roads up to the house. Some are pretty steep. We had unreasonable rain most of the days we were in Tenerife (March 2025) and stayed at home one day. It was an absolute indulgence to sit in a warm and beautiful house and listen to the rain and watch the clouds and mist sweep up the mountainside.

Victor was very good to us and gave us eggs and fruit.The place was very comfortable and warm, though we had to pay extra for the heating.

Lovely hosts, Amazing location next to forest, peaceful and quiet. Perfect for hiking/those who prefer to stay out of tourists. Spacious apartment with everything for cooking available. Perfectly clean. Thank you very much!

“Nature pure”

Iara and Victor are so nice hosts. The house is well equipped and so cozy. The surrounding is incredible and nature pure. Close by drive of 10min to the beach. The house is near the forest to have a nice walk and to enjoy the silence. Absolutely good and we will come back once.

It was lovely. Beautiful spacious house. Wonderful kind hosts. Beautiful green, quiet surroundings. The house is located in a quiet area on a steep mountainside. The north side is beautiful and there is a lot to do and explore in the area. Shops and local restaurants a few minutes driving away, the owners have some good tips. We also found a nice beach and natural swimming pools less than 30 minutes away.
