Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel National Park in Sauraha. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the family-run hotel felt warm and welcoming. The staff, especially Suraj, was very helpful. The guides were experienced and friendly, and the hotel provided convenient lifts to and from all activities, including pick-up and drop-off. The location is great too, just a short walk from town, but still peaceful and close to nature. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chitwan!

“Great stay in Chitwan!”

The room was clean and they provide you water. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel like home. They help you arrange the tour in the national park and give you advice. Everything was well arranged and I would love to come back next time!

Me and my friends had a great time in the Hotel. The transfer from the Bus to the hotel was free and worked seamless. We met new young and cool travelers on the hotel. The room was clean and we felt us very comfortable in it. The family, they have the hotel, was very friendly and helpful. They organized for us our days and everything going well. Our Guides from the hotel was very kindly and the tours made so much fun with them. Recommended to stay on this hotel and will have a great time. The people are very kindly. Grateful for this beautiful experience.

“Clean, simple, friendly stay”

Location, friendliness, cleanliness. Suraj is very friendly and chatty and will book any safaris or transport for you. It was 4,500 (£22.50) for a morning jeep safari and 11,000 (£55) for a 1hr canoe ride and full day walking, including park entry fees. Surai and Som the walking guides were brilliant.

Suraj the owner was amazing sorted everything for me as soon as I arrived including pick up from bus station. All the guides he uses are great as well very knowledgeable. Lovely place to stay in Chitwan for a great price as well.

“Wonderful and friendly stay!”

I booked this hotel due to the amazing reviews and it did not disappoint! The family was super friendly and helpful, they sorted all my safari tours, pick up from bus stops and dinners. The property is ideal location, really central and has great views and balcony to enjoy the views and nature! Also social spaces and events for solo travellers. It's difficult to find words to describe how good my stay was at the National Park Saurabha hotel. Suraj was a superb host, taking care of everything and providing an excellent service. Whether it was always picking up the guests when necessary, arranging transportation when travel agencies said it was not possible, providing great meals, or even arranging an amazing safari experience with the best price and the best guides. Best place I've been in a while and all thanks to his remarkable kindness and ability to do everything. Will definitely come back to Nepal to come back to this hotel! They do not support elephant activities that's good 👍

“Family feel hotel!”

It was a very friendly, family feel. The owner took me to the hospital when I was unwell and checked to make sure everything was okay. The food was good, the rooms were clean and had mosquito nets (not that they were needed) and they organised the safari very easily for us

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel National Park in Sauraha. What I appreciated most was the warm family atmosphere of the place. The staff made me feel genuinely welcome and were always kind, helpful and attentive. At the same time, the hotel is run in an effective and efficient way. They organized all my activities in Chitwan National Park smoothly and reliably, which made my stay very easy and relaxing. Communication was smooth, easy and everything was handled seriously and professionally. The hotel itself is peaceful, comfortable and well located. I would happily stay there again and recommend it to travelers looking for both a friendly atmosphere and dependable organization.

“Perfect hotel for exploring Chitwan”

Amazing spot for visiting Chitwan. The family who run the hotel helped to book everything from an incredible safari, buses etc. Brilliant value for money and the staff could not have been more helpful!

The staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful, only stayed for two nights but felt like family. The safari was amazing, got to see loads of rhinos, deers and birds. The food was every good and reasonably priced. There was a big storm one morning but the staff delt with it very well. They provided free bus transfers which was also very nice. Very good value for money would deffo recommend.

I booked my stay in Chitwan quite last minute and hadn’t planned much in advance, but I was really impressed with how smoothly everything went thanks to the hotel. From the free pickup and drop-off at the bus station to organizing all the activities, everything was very well arranged. The prices for the tours are very reasonable, and they tailor everything to your preferences. I did a 2-day tour, and it was perfect from start to finish. The hotel itself is very clean, and the food is good. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the city center, which is actually quite pleasant. What I appreciated most was the flexibility and the incredibly warm welcome.

We chose to stay at Hotel National Park Sauraha based on its consistently high reviews. This is a family-run place that runs like clockwork! Efficient, organised, and genuinely welcoming. Nothing ever felt like a problem, and that kind of attitude really makes a difference when you’re travelling. We arrived with no real plans, and everything was effortlessly arranged for us. The hotel organises a range of safari experiences, which made things incredibly easy. We did a canoe trip, jungle walk, and jeep safari, all with a very experienced guide, we felt safe and well looked after the entire time. The location is peaceful, with an easy walk to the river and nearby restaurants. If you’re looking for a relaxed, well organised base for exploring with a friendly, hands-on family, this is a great option. Great for the budget conscious.

I would definetly recommend staying at hotel natural park sauraha. Suraj and his team made us feel very welcome and was very helpful throughout our 4-day stay. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the hotel! Whatever you need helpful they are there. You can plan your activities in chitwan directly with the hotel, which is great. We went on jungle walk and jeep safari with their guide surai, who has been a guide for almost 40 years - we felt very safe the entire time! Stay at hotel natural park so you get to have him as your guide :)

A very pleasant stay. They pick you up from the bus station, organize all excursions to the national park, tickets and transport, and bring you back to the bus. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a very quiet location, the rooms are clean, and the food was good too.
