The staff feels like family ! They are welcoming and arrange everything for you with a smile ! 😊 We had half day jeep safari and walk in canoe safari and had an amazing experience with Rinos ! If available ask for Jokurt! He is top tier guide with a lot of knowledge of nature and all animals. Just book your stay and everything will be arranged for you!

Building and facilities were excellent, but what made it most enjoyable were the really lovely staff. Nothing was too much bother. Beautiful garden setting. Really good guide provided for the well organised activities we arranged through them. Excellent value for money. Great food.

We had a great 4 night stay here. We spent long afternoons on our balcony in the shade, with a view on the beautiful and well kept garden, full of flowers and birds. But above all we loved the staff, so kind, helpfull and anticipating. They advised us well to choose the right (canoeing) safari, and hiring bicycles for one day (tip!). Go there!

“Perfect quiet stay with exceptional staff”

We really enjoyed our stay here - we had originally booked for 2 nights but decided to extend our stay for a number of reasons. The staff here are exceptional - they are so kind and helpful and will go above and beyond to make your stay a happy one. Raj took us to the bus station the day we were leaving - he does this for everyone. He also organised a place for us to watch the cricket during our stay. He’s a lovely guy who gives a lot of valuable advice and information. Breakfast is good - fruit, eggs, toast, pancakes, yoghurt. Basu was very good and took my husband’s allergy seriously when preparing breakfast. The location is perfect to walk into Sauraha and is also very quiet.

We had a fantastic stay at Chitwan Village Resort. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the place itself is very pleasant and relaxing. Definitely a stay we would love to repeat!

“The most amazing stay in Nepal”

I initially booked Chitwan Village Resort for 3 nights while travelling around Nepal for 2 weeks. I loved it so much that I ended up cancelling the next leg of my tour and staying for another couple nights. The hotel is situated just off the main road in Chitwan which gives you an easy access to all the local attractions, without any commotion or unwanted noise. The area is beautiful - a massive garden where you can have a peaceful breakfast, spacious and clean rooms containing everything you may need (water, kettle, refreshments, towels, mosquito nets, and even shower shoes). The food is amazing and I especially recommend the iced coffee. But what truly takes this place over the edge is the most incredible staff - everyone is so helpful and kind, from the owner, through the managers and kitchen staff, to the gardeners and construction workers. Everyone is happy to help with any question or need you may have, whether it's carrying the luggage, giving you a lift somewhere, or arranging a safari trip. The owner told me how important it is for him to listen to the guests and implement their feedback, and I confirm you can really feel it here - not just an amazing hotel but a truly homey atmosphere. My favourite place in Nepal, I can't recommend it enough!
