The stay was perfect, we had direct river views from our room. The resort is a gem with a good sized pool, beautiful views over nature and very attentive team which knows what hospitality means. Will go again.

Excellent river and National park views Amazing establishment and staff Ideally located, comfortable, clean with a large garden & pool allowing you to rest and recharge in complete serenity.

Room was very average.. You have to order food 1 hr before lunch or dinner.. Food was ordinary.. Complimantory breakfast was very poor.. Staff behaviour at reception counter especially his name was thapa very arrogant.. More over they are asking money for breakfast for my 5 year kid.. which was complimantory.. Location was good.. Not recommended for tourists traveling with family n kids.. Very poor hospitality..

The location by the river is perfect, and the breakfast was overall fantastic. The staff always did their best to accommodate any request we had. All in all, it was a truly lovely stay, and we would definitely recommend this place.

“Excellent location and value for money”

The location is excellent for nature lovers. The photographs are very accurate for both the interior and exterior areas. The resort is only a short walk into town or a slightly longer walk to the elephant breeding centre. We even enjoyed sitting on our bed photographing birds outside our room (208). Every morning about 30-40 hornbills would fly into the tree outside reception. Quite a spectacle. Reading previous reviews we almost cancelled our booking but are very glad we did not. The "rules" are very sensible. No non presctibed drugs on the premises, you MUST wearing a bathing costume in the pool (reception can provide one if necessary) etc. The owner was on site every day and very chatty. Oh and the food. Fabulous food with very generous portions. Thank you to Safal Giri who looked after us so well keeping us fed and watered all day. 🥰.

Room was not clean and smelly. All of the linen were smelly and unpleasant.

Location along the riverside is lovely - the view is amazing and we saw a rhino from there. Nice to watch the birds on the garden lawn and we also saw mongoose from our window from the room which was nice. The staff were nice and they got us to the bus at 5am in the morning when we were leaving after we got a late night email to tell us it had been moved forward by 3 hours. The rooms are a little outdated but they’re comfortable and have all the things you need for the stay. Breakfast included was good too (eggs, bread, potato’s, tea and coffee).

Its position by the River Rapti is lovely. It has a spacious garden that offers a relaxing environment from which to observe the constantly changing array of birds and other wildlife. The sightseeing tours they arranged were excellent. The food in the restaurant, both Nepali and Western style, was very good.

Good for saferi location

After the national park, I fancied a few days in the sun. The resort was great. Maybe the rooms look a bit tired and the breakfast could be better but the garden by the river is fantastic and all the staff in the office were so kind and helpful. Really good, didn't understand the 8.1 on booking.

Great garden area along the river for relaxed animal watching. The pool is secluded and nice for hot days.
