Room had been painted and washroom had been redone. Room was very clean and the staff was friendly/ Bed was comfortable. Mini fridge , microwave and tv all in great shape. Free Parking.

Excellent location and friendly staff. The room was incredibly cosy and the noise was minimal despite the proximity to the adjacent road.

“This is the 2nd time I have stayed here. Both times were great.”
Desk clerk was friendly and a complimentary 500ml bottle of water was provided. The room was basic but clean, the bed was comfortable. The Microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator were newer units and clean. Plenty of towels in the spotless bathroom. The motel is next door to a restaurant. I liked the 'vibe' of the motel. It reminds me of the 60's when motels like this were found along the highways, and we would only need to find the the next lighted "Vacancy" sign.

“Really pleasant and comfortable place to stay”
The manager was really attentive to our needs. Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to all amenities. Easy process to check in and out. Really clean.

“Great for a road trip stop over”
I stay in this motel almost every time I pass through the Soo. I have stayed at least 6 times not disappointed even once. I usually go through the Soo 4 times each year. I will use the TRUNK again in the future. Nearly impossible to beat the price along with a nearness to breakfast or dinner restaurants. Junction to the TransCanada is close. I always stop for gas on the Garden River Reservation. This motel is a great stop over along the highway. Not set for scenic views.
