This grand hotel that dates back to 1914 is located 3 km from Sauda’s centre. It offers an on-site restaurant, free Wi-Fi and close proximity to Saudafjord’s impressive waterfalls. Friendly staff from the moment we arrived. Stunning hotel that is unique in the area. Excellent bar that can get a bit lively at night (avoid room 311 at weekends if you want an early night!).

“Nice historical place”
The location is awesome. We booked a cottage, but we regret this after we saw the hotel rooms. Advise, book a room with a sea view for the best experience of this hotel with great heritage!

“An ok stay but not worth the price”
Main building looks very nice and has a good view of the fjord and the mountains. Breakfast was good, but they do not manage to keep the hot dishes hot.
