Simple, quiet, well-equipped (with basic amenities) apartment located in the university community of Holar. The apartment provided good value for money, and I would recommend it for anyone needing basic accommodations out in the countryside.

“Bad experience. Not worth the money.”
There should be signs for the location of the apartments. There are no microwaves in the apartments and the description of the apartments says so. In one of the apartments the toaster was broken. Dubious hygiene of the kitchen apparels. In one the rooms the shade curtain for the night was broken (lucky that it was totally down...). The toilet there is no proper place for the shower, just a sink hole on the floor and a curtain and a mop.

“Old and torn cabin, cheap but not that clean. It could be a lot nicer with a little work.”
The beds where actually very comfortable and the shower was good but not that clean though. The cabin was very warm.

Very nice. Close to the historic church site of Hólar and the modern museum and education site. Close enough to Sauðárkrókur to shop for food etc.
