This was the best guesthouse we stayed at in Iceland. The place was very cozy and clean, with a beautiful terrace offering an amazing view.

Great place to stay - we were a group of 5 adults across 2 rms. Right next-door to our Horse-riding experience (if u want to ride in Iceland these 2 businesses make a great duo!) Comfy rooms, clean facilities, great DIY coffee in the morning. Close drive to find dinner. Attentive host who wasn't intrusive. Note: we disastrously left our much needed, brand new & expensive hiking boots behind & didn't realise until we were 8hrs away. Peony saved the day by arranging postage to Reykjavik self-collect parcel locker. 2 days later... there they were, the day we drove in, the day before we fly out. Communicated with us the whole way. Really recommend Helluland as a place to stay :)

Very nice guesthouse, looks freshly renovated - just like in the pictures. The room was very nice with comfortable beds. Spacious and fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The location is nicely remote, perfect for spotting auroras.

Very cozy and individually furnished, super friendly hosts and a great café with the best Black Forest cake in Iceland.

Host was very kind and friendly. Rooms are pretty. Interior is pretty. Everything is pretty. Dessert dish was as English afternoon tea,we enjoyed the atmosphere. I felt the owner’ s love to the house and her warm welcome to us.

excellent share kitchen with ovens, hob & microwave. quiet comfy rooms. great views in a rural setting, 2 share upstairs bathrooms for 5 rooms (4 upstairs, one downstairs), a little small but plenty hot water. Downstairs communal lounge and dining areas to relax. Friendly owners. Very clean .

Cleanliness (cleanest we have ever stayed), decor, friendly, helpful staff and the views. The Icelandic horse herding evening and next morning was a real bonus.
