Overview
Situated on Sathing Phra Beach, Ao Thai Resort offers modern air-conditioned bungalows with free Wi-Fi. Guests can relax by the pool or indulge in massage treatments. Free public parking is possible on site. Ao Thai Resort is a 30-minute drive from Samila Beach and Golden Mermaid. Hat Yai International Airport is a 50-minute drive away. We had an excellent stay and truly enjoyed every moment. Uwe, the owner, is incredibly nice and friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. The breakfast is very fulfilling, with a great variety of choices to suit everyone. The beachfront restaurant is outstanding, offering a wonderful setting and delicious food. What we appreciated most was the laid-back atmosphere—it’s a genuine place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

“Great host, good food”
We really enjoyed meeting host Uwe and he took us on a tour of Songkhla which was great. We had a large villa with a breezy balcony/patio where we spent a lot of our time. The menu at the resort is large and varied and good quality cooking - Thai and European - is served.

The beach is clean, water is crystal clear. They provide place to chill. Breakfast with limited choices but the coffee is good btw😌 We love the beach so much. Definitely will repeat the trip!

Breakfast was grand, the owner Uwe very client-focused, the whole organisation & maintenance perfect, the food excellent & with a quick service, the beach regularly swept (to avoid the piles of garbage brought by the sea on either side) Nothing to fault them on, except maybe the staff lack of English (which is manageable by the ever-present Uwe). Great place to spend relaxing time.
