“Would happily live there!”
One of the best places I have ever stayed! Orazio was an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble to help us. Everything was home cooked and we felt spoilt by the tentative service. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we’d had all road trip. The breakfast spread is very filling. We went to do the schnapps hike and was pleasantly surprised by the free bus tickets to help you get around the village This hotel is a little out the centre but worth it for the views and hospitality

“A very nice mountain hotel”
We really liked the owner and his staff. He joked with our children and showed them his impressive collection of wall and standing clocks. We liked how the hotel is furnished and decorated. The place is well located to reach Unterstmatt in 5 minutes. Parking right in front of the hotel. Generous and rich breakfast. Comfortable, warm and clean. Good food!

Great location to hike in the Schwarzwald. Staff was nice, breakfast was tasty and the hotel itself is quaint, with a nice sight on the Rhine valley and the surrounding hills. Clean and comfy room overall.

Very welcoming and accommodating, we had some delays en route so were worried we would miss our stay, but they were very helpful and ensured we could access our room on arrival. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, with beautiful rooms kept to a high standard. Lovely breakfast with a view. We will definitely be back, and would highly recommend!

Lovely venue with fantastic views. Room appeared freshly decorated,perfect for short stay with excellent breakfast. Restaurant with roaring fire and terrace would be great in the summer.Plenty of parking

The staff were lovely and English speaking. A very warm welcome and shown around the room first. It was clean and not cramped with good facilities. The restaurant had an amazing view and the food was fantastic. A really great place to stay
