“A Truly Unforgettable Stay – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience”
This was honestly one of the most special and unforgettable places I have ever stayed. The experience left such a deep impression on me. Staying in a 150-year-old traditional house allowed me to fully immerse myself in an atmosphere that you simply cannot experience at ordinary accommodations. I could truly feel the charm and peaceful ambiance of Sasayama village throughout my stay. The room exceeded my expectations and made the entire experience even more memorable. It wasn’t just a stay — it felt like stepping into history. Most of all, the dinner kaiseki course was absolutely outstanding. The fusion of Japanese and French cuisine created flavors I still cannot forget. Every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. Breakfast was also delicious and perfectly complemented the overall experience. I feel so grateful that I had the opportunity to visit such a place. If I ever have the chance, I would love to bring my parents here — it’s that special. Highly, highly recommended to everyone. The location is great as well. Absolutely recommend without hesitation!

The staff were absolutely lovely and really made the experience. I really appreciate them going out of there to make a birthday plate for my partner and giving the most incredible recommendations: the pottery shop and amazing café were real highlights of the trip!

Stepping into another world. Small town relaxed atmosphere, timbered house lovingly restored to accommodate modern facilities yet retaining the charm of Japanese ambience, tatami mats, sliding doors, bathtub. It was quiet, secluded, excellent for a retreat from a busy world.

Hotel's location is in the historical neighborhood of Sasayama which makes it special. The room and amenities were exceptional. Everything was as described, the staffs were friendly and helpful, the food was amazing.. Cannot expect more from my stay!

The location was fantastic. Sasayama is a picturesque town, steeped in history and surrounded by mountains. It is a peaceful and relaxing location. It was a privilege to stay in traditional building that has its own interesting history, and that had been lovingly restored with some modern conveniences added. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was excellent! The traditional Japanese breakfasts were delightful. I hope to visit again!
