Overview
Antico Casale is a restored farmhouse offering air-conditioned rooms and apartments. Set in a large park in the rural town of Sarzana, it is the ideal location to explore Tuscany and Liguria. The gardens of Antico Casale enjoy lovely views of the countryside, and contain a large outdoor pool with a hydromassage area and a children’s playground. Only 10 minutes’ drive from the sea at Marinella, Antico Casale is perfect for visiting a variety of tourist destinations. Staff can organise sports activities too, from trekking with guides in the Apuan Alps and fishing to horse-riding close by.

Lots of green areas located in quiet part of Sarzana. Therefore our dog was overjoyed. The personel was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was very tasty with lots of fruit. Swimming pool was clean and dedicated for both adults and children. Despite the hot weather it was cool and pleasant inside the room because each building has thick walls. Hence even AC was not required. I highly recommend this place.

“Wonderful countryside retreat at Antico Casale”
We had an excellent stay at Antico Casale, a charming place in the countryside near Sarzana. The facilities were impeccable, and the garden was beautifully maintained — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The service was outstanding throughout our stay, and the breakfast was truly amazing: very complete, with fresh, high-quality products. Definitely a place we would love to return to.

In a nice natural environment. It’s comfortable for short stays but should be preferred in summer time. Breakfast was good compared to avg breakfasts in Italian hotels.

“If I was going back to Sarzana I would definitely stay back here!”
What a beautiful place! I honestly wish we had more time so I could have booked more nights. So peaceful and could have sat on our balcony for hours listening to nature 😍 Shame we were only there a night and didn’t get to enjoy the large pool area!

Very nice park around apartments, nice to walk and move around. Very welcoming staff. Refreshing swimming pool was nice and restaurant when it was open suggested delicious menu. Spacious parking. Sarzana town nearby is recommended very much for visiting.
