“Perfect stay on Camino 💫”
Beautiful accommodation on the Camino! Everything is spotlessly clean and well organized. The host is warm and welcoming and explained everything to us. Pilgrim credentials and stamps are available. He also organized transport from the airport for us. Everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you!

What a beautiful place. Every little detail Was perfectly thought out and maintained. Beautiful home. Comfortable beds. Modern bathroom. And it had AC! Check was easy and the people were so nice. Will stay here again.

“Wonderful stay”
Wonderful stay, so full of character and the view from our room was amazing. The room was pretty with beamed ceilings. The beds were very comfortable, the fridge and kettle were unexpected and appreciated. The lovely man at Reception was really helpful and kind enough to carry our bags up to the second floor as we were exhausted after our walk! Everything was just perfect.

“5 Star Pension. Perfect.”
This is a property which consists of 4 bedrooms. It is situated in the old part of the town which is very historical and beautiful. It has been restored sympathetically and provides everything a traveller could want. The decor is simple, very tranquil and tasteful. The host ( I’m sorry I did not get his name ) was very helpful, kind and friendly, offering helpful information before being asked for it. He regularly checked that we were happy. The room was a very comfortable size with an adjoining terrace overlooking the host’s private garden and offering vistas over Sarria. In the enclosed terrace, which was spacious, there was fridge with a complimentary big bottle of water, nice touch. The bathroom, from a woman’s point of view, has been exceptionally well thought out and planned. 1. The shower was powerful and the extractor fan also, which meant the bathroom did not steam up - great 2. The heat was put on immediately when we arrived and it was very comfortable to shower almost immediately 3. A basin has been provided for washing and a frame for drying also 4. Best of all for me there was a really powerful hairdryer which is something very few high end hotels even have The beds very comfortable and the pillows, perfect. I have done several Caminos since 2006 ( Frances, Ingles, Portuguese and currently dipping in and out of the Del Norte. This accommodation is up there with the best. I have stayed in Sarria many times before always staying in the Alfonso. Casa Barán is a pleasure to stay in and I had one of the best night sleep in a long time. If you decide to stay here please treat this Casa with the respect if deserves. If I ever go to Sarria again this will be my place of choice. Many thanks to Casa Barán for a very pleasurable experience.
