“Nice hotel, nice town.”
Lovely chap checked us in and made us feel very welcome and gave us all the info we needed for local food and drink. The hotel’s quite ‘retro’, it made a very pleasant change from formulaic modern hotels. There’s a very nice bar next door.

“A very good experience in a central location.”
The staff were superb and friendly. Our room was just what we needed. The location is very central and right by the train station (though no noise at all from the trains). Breakfast looked very good - though we had to leave early and eat elsewhere due to other commitments.

great location next to station, opposite patisserie and only a short walk to the town. free safe parking at the station just a few minutes walk from the hotel. comfortable bed, ample storage in the room and a fan provided for hot days . friendly and welcoming staff.
