If you wish to experience a historical stay The Reserve Retreat is perfect. Two of us stayed at the August Ringling room, and it was just enough for us. The estate is a very charming. The area is walkable to the downtown. We had a unique experience that added up to our stay in Sarasota.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The rustic style creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and everything was very clean. Check-in was quick and easy. The hotel restaurant is absolutely amazing, and we loved spending the evening in the courtyard. Free parking was also a big plus and made our stay even more convenient.

Comfortable bed and good shower. We loved the restaurant and would highly recommend it.

Quaint! But breakfast was one of the best meals we have had in 4 weeks in USA! Do have breakfast at the cafe below! Great place lovely people!

Wonderful stay, the location was so convenient and so many cute touches around, especially the cafe! The wine was also a wonderful touch- we would highly recommend and would stay again!

We did not have breakfast. We did not want to eat outside and the restaurant part of the house smelt badly of damp and mildew. The bedroom was fine though, comfortable and quality bed. The owners/staff staff could not have been nicer or more helpful or friendly.

The room was very clean and roomy. Our King size bed was comfortable and soft. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to enjoy a patio concert on the property.

This is an unexpected treasure in a sea of touristy hotels and chain restaurants. The only comment would be the stairs! Our room was on the top floor and the stairs are steep. I had my small dog with me and going up and down multiple times was a challenge for my 70-yr. old knees. Otherwise, everything was cozy and delightful.
