The location was ideal for wildlife watching. We enjoyed two excellent guided walks with very qualified and interesting guides that spoke good English. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a lovely terrace where we could watch birds and reptiles. The suspension bridge

The room was really comfortable and from our balcony we could see and hear so much wildlife. Hummingbirds, squirrels, woodpecker etc and Merlin could hear so many more. In the day we wandered throughout the reserve without a guide and saw Howler and Capuchin Monkeys, a sloth, toucans, iguanas, poison dart frogs, lizards and so many birds

The only good thing in this place was the night tour with a young lady guide : amazing! sloth, snakes, frogs, spider....The guide was wonderful.

The room is clean, large, with comfortable beds but the highlight is that beyond the backyard starts the rainforest!

Good option within 2 hours of San Jose airport. Super easy access to primary forest. Sloths and monkeys in abundance around your room.

Room was a good size and comfortable. Lodge is within a reserve with lots of birds, iguanas and other wildlife. Secure parking area is a comfort- and a good wildlife spotting area!

The forest is fantastic -the aerial bridges breathtaking. Saw loads of wildlife just in the little garden area at the back of our room .

We were upgraded which made the value for money very good including the pass to the park (we paid 86€ for two people). - They can provide you with great guides! We had an awesome experience with ours for the twilight tour.

This place is fantastic spent 3 days and would have liked to stay longer. Beautiful location in protected rainforest, great walks and guides , lots of birds and wildlife

“A brilliant rainforest experience”

In the middle of the rainforest so great fauna and flora. Really enjoyed the night walk. Lovely watching wildlife from your breakfast table. It would be great if they could rent out some good binoculars.

Great location on the banks of the Sarapiqui River, impressive suspension bridge walkway across the river to the tropical forest on the other side, very good guided tours at night and in day time. Friendly restaurant with reasonable food for dinner and breakfast. Simple but comfortable rooms. Be sure to also book a visit to "Dave and Daves" park 150 metres down the road as well for good visibility of local animal and bird species.

Breakfast was basic but satisfactory. The location is good; nice trails to follow although not lots of animals to see. The chocolate tour was fun! Dave and Dave’s up the road is worth a visit whilst you’re staying here - amazing birds to see close up.

The staff were all great, the location to the forest was very convenient. Enjoyed the chocolate tour. Comfortable bar/restaurant nothing very fancy but reasonably priced. Air con in the room was very good.

The private reserve with the trails a d bridges is the main reason for staying in this lodge. The guides are knowledgeable and they're are animals like sloths, monkeys and green iguanas right around the buildings. There's a coffee maker and tea and coffee available in the room.

The location was great, so close to the national park and an amazing amount of different animals. We did the night tour and the guide was so knowledgeable and spotted animals we never would have seen.
