A perfect and truly authentic place. Everything was exceptional the rooms, the views, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the food. It was an amazing experience, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The location is also good, slightly away from the center of Montefalco and the renowned Montefalco Sagrantino wineries.

Absolute perfect place to disconnect. The garden/pool area is a dream, and it’s located far away enough from the big city that you can enjoy the countryside but close enough that you’re 25-45min away from the most charming Umbrian towns. We’d like to share our kindest regards with Mika, the restaurant Manager, the Chef and the cleaning staff. They all seemed to work tirelessly throughout our stay, with nothing but warm smiles and beautiful service.

“Old English nobility”

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of September and booked a double room. The house is very well maintained and everything is in an old English style. The room was spacious and clean. The pool is in a great location below the house with a view of the hilly landscape. The pool is 6*6m in size and is not heated, so the water was very fresh. The breakfast was very plentiful, very varied, with lots of fresh products. For dinner we always ate in the surrounding restaurants, as we didn't appreciated the menu on both evenings. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and helpful and speak good English.. It is very quiet in the hotel and there is not much to do in the immediate area. Montefalco is about 25 minutes away. A car is a must have. Thank you for your hospitality 👍

We loved the old world ambiance of the property, the location was lovely, the view was stunning. We had a car so no problem with visiting other places of interest as the property is quite isolated which is what we were looking for. The pool and the gardens were relaxing to sit, read a book and look at the view. We had a sitting room with our bedroom which was a lovely area to sit. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Breakfast was just perfect with a nice amount of choice without being too much. We had dinner there for 2 nights which also was beautifully cooked, but maybe just a bit too much food as it's a set menu.

Our holidays at La Ghirlanda were amazing. It is such a beatiful, peaceful place that has everything you need if you want to relax. We really enjoyed dinners, the food was always delicious. If you are a wine lover, this place is definetely for you because Montefalco Sagrantino from their winery is fabulous. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable and really clean. I hope someday we will come back!

The setting is wonderful and it is a beautiful old house with lovely views all around. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food served was delicious - the best parmigiana I've ever tried! It is a very peaceful, relaxing place - we didn't do any of the experiences offered but they did look fantastic.
