“An Incredible Experience”

We had a wonderful stay at Aethos Saragano. The hotel is set in a beautiful town and everything about our experience was excellent, from the friendly staff to the food. Breakfast was incredible and dinner was also very good. The spa was a highlight, and a special mention to Ottavio for his great service. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay. Highly recommended.

“A dreamy Hotel between the Hills of Umbria”

Me and my mom had a splendid time. We stayed at the apartment which was really cosy and big. They had towels, creams, everything for showering and of an amazing quality - I must say, which many times is not the case. The Stuff was super super nice. We also had dinner at their restaurant Ceci and it was DELICIOUS. They guy who served us, was so cute. The lady at the receptionist was super helpful and kind, she also suggested us whee to go to eat on our way back to Milan. The rooms were warm, the views were amazing, the breakfast was abundant and the little Borgo was a dream :) I really really would return there again. Oh and the Spa, lovely one - we were lucky enough to be the only 2 there on a Tuesday Morning.

A very nice hotel located in the nature

We stayed in the Jacuzzi Room for our honeymoon and WOW, it was truly amazing. The view was breathtaking and we loved having our private terrace. All the staff were wonderful, especially the Portuguese man who served us the majority of the trip. The food is great and we loved our cooking class with the chef.

The Thursday BBQ is a must-experience! Grilled local specialties paired with Sagrantino wines under a starry sky created a warm, festive vibe in Saragano’s picturesque streets. The rooms are exquisite—elegant, immaculate, and cozy, with jaw-dropping views. The hillside pool and spa are heavenly, perfect for ultimate relaxation. Visiting nearby vineyards is highly recommended! Guided tours through the wineries and their historic cellars, paired with tastings of exceptional local wines like Sagrantino, elevated our trip to another level.

Absolutely stunning location, the views are incredible, especially if you have a room or apartment with views over the hills (and pool). The staff at the hotel were lovely too. Food at the restaurant was superb, loved it! And the setting of the restaurant with views over the hills is beautiful.

A massive shout-out to Paul, who went above and beyond to make our anniversary stay unforgettable. What he did for us was truly special, and we won’t forget it—he’s an absolute star! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and heartwarming experience.

“Exceptional, everything about it, we hope to return.”

Pretty much everything. We booked here for the exceptional views, they didn't disappoint and you could barely hear a sound other than the sounds of nature. Our 1 bed terrace apartment was lovely, very large and well appointed with a dishwasher and Nespresso maker. The large terrace had the same stunning views. The pool was a good size and temperature, there was never a shortage of sunbeds. The restaurant provided a superb breakfast every day, and the other meals we had there were delicious. All the staff we encountered were very well trained and friendly. Paul the Manager was a very hands on presence, a lot of managers could learn from his customer service skills.

The view is beautiful, as are all views in Umbria. The pool was also very nice. The breakfast is a set menu, though orange juice and eggs are an extra charge.

Aethos Saragano is beautifully and sensitively integrated into the village - because it has mostly been created *from* the village. The view of the village from our room in the new building (which v handily contained the spa) was superb, as was our expansive and long view out over the countryside. The spa is quite small but perfectly formed, and the hotel limits use of the spa to only a few couples at a time - indeed on our visit we had it to ourselves. The restaurant is, again, quite small but absolutely priorities hotel guests over non-residents - allowing us to sample the delicious local cuisine as conjured up and cooked by Delphine - a girl from the village who understands what makes good local food rather magnificent - there is no need to go elsewhere to eat as many come from outside *to* the hotel to dine. Its location requires a car to get around as it is isolated, one reason we chose and enjoyed it, though not far from local villages they are not really easily walkable. Finally - the staff - led by Paul the manager. We felt that he and all of his team could not do enough for us..they treated us like house guests - they were superb.

I hope my feedback helps not only travellers but above all the Aethos team for everything in the future. I may be very critical, but I work in the luxury industry myself, travel a lot and attach great importance to perfect service, especially on holiday. The property is fantastic. It has a wonderful location with absolute tranquillity. It is important to know that locals also live in the village. On the Aethos site, it appears that the entire complex concerns the hotel. This is not the case. Only a small part belongs to Aethos. The reception didn't seem very professional. There was no one there to take our suitcases, the briefing was rather casual and had no professional touch. A word from the hotel management would have been nice - if they even exist?
