“A lovely house in the middle of the peaceful Normandy countryside.”
If you like the peace and quiet of the countryside, this is the perfect place. The mill house has been beautifully restored, Denis, the owner, happened to be there the day we arrived. He explained what he'd done so far and what he's planning for the adjacent mill and barn which was fascinating. It was very hot when we stayed, the air con throughout the house made it very comfortable indoors. Plenty of room for 8 people, we thought maybe only one shower room might be a problem, but we coped well. A reasonable amount of garden for children to play and plenty of parking space. Easy to visit Bayeux and anything to do with WW2 and D-Day.
