The other reviews are true: Nilda (and her brother Lalito, who was visiting), gave me the best welcome to Sao Tome imaginable! They are kind, speak English well, and Nilda was super attentive and helped me with anything I needed, and with a smile! The room was spacious and room+bathroom were very clean. There's a guest kitchen with fridge. The location is central with just a few minutes walking distance from the markets, shared taxis etc.

“Great place for Sao Tome”

A very good starting point for Sao Tome. It is a bit outside the center and hence relatively quiet. The hosts are very nice and the house is well maintained, clean, with spacious rooms. I would always come back here.

The location is great. The shared living room is nice. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The guesthouse is very good value. The WiFi was excellent. You can get a moto taxi to the airport for 40 dobra. Don't pay €10 for a taxi..

Cheap place in the city center. Possible to pay by bank transfer. Helpful staff

“Central accomodation with a helpful host who speaks good english”

The best thing about this accomodation was Nilda and her mom. They made us feel so welcome and were a great source if information about a country we didn't know an didn't speak the language. Nildas English is excellent. We felt right at home here. The rooms are basic but clean enough, and the beds were comfortable. The shower waterpressure was low, but there was hot water. The kitchen looked well equipped but we never used it, since Nilda gave so many tips for good restsurants. Easy to walk all around the city from here.

Great location and easy to go every where.

We had a great time. The host Bernilda is very nice and helpful and the location is very central only one street away from the market.

Location is great,I liked the place and was upgraded to room upstairs with private balcony..liked the fridge and kitchen in common area. Rooms though are very hot,no airco and fan could definitely be a stronger one.

The location, communication, kindness of the owner and her mother who were always ready to help if needed. Nilda's mother cooked delicious vegetarian food for me. I highly recommend this place in São Tomé!!
