“Stay with a Big Hart”

The house is in a good location near a beautiful beach and has one of the most beautiful views of the sea and sandy beach. You can enjoy it on the terrace. The room is very clean, the bed is comfortable. The room we were in had a private bathroom separate from the room in a shared hallway, but this did not bother us at all. The breakfast is excellent and served with all care. The added value of staying here is the kindness and incredible care of the owner, who does his job with a big heart. Thank you for everything, JP.

“Terrace with a breathtaking sea view and a fantastic host”

The highlight of this stay was definitely the massive terrace with an incredible ocean view—it was so relaxing to sit there and watch the sea. The owner is very warm, reliable, and pays great attention to detail, making us feel right at home. The entire place was spotless and very well-organized. Also, the location is perfect as it's very close to the airport, making travel super easy.

“That's why we travel”

Host - Jean Pierre - is the winning lottery ticket! Location, rooms, terrace on the top... everything was great. Delicious breakfast (and also dinner) is a big plus. We really enjoyed the atmosphere during the meals. This place definitely has a charm - we had a feeling that we come to a visit of an old friend. Maybe I will start learning French to be able to have a live chat with JP next time - without google translate :)

Or go to the beach, speak with Mr Gami and he will give you an excellent personal tour.The route down to the beach is not so easy. Lovely breakfast,JP provided soya milk for me. The room was clean.The local beach bar (round structure) has the most lethal caipirinha cocktails ever!

“Our favourite stay in Cabo Verde”

If we knew our experience will be as great, we would definitely book for a longer stay! The village is still so authentic and very safe. We love the warmth, pureness and privacy the JP and his team offer. There is only 3 rooms in the house which allows for the quiet and homy feeling. We were lucky to have the room with the balcony which offers the best possible view. All the furniture and equipment is modern and well taken care of. The water is really warm (not always the case in Cabo Verde). We very much enjoyed the home made breakfasts and dinners. Will miss the very special marmalade, cakes, punch and the chats with the team and the guests we met! We wish you a wonderful stay and hope to be back too!

Breakfast was good. Nice bedroom and bathroom. Balcony had a great view over Sao Pedro.

Excellent host, JeanPierre is very punctual, very friendly, give alot of practical information, being French he is an excellent cook. It is on a walkable distance from the Sao Vicente airport, so you can save yourself this taxi cost.

Beautiful location with panoramic view of the beach from the room. We could see the turtles from the balcony. Jean Pierre is a very friendly host, everything is possible. Perfect end or start of a holiday.

We had a nice room with a wonderful view of the big beach and a private balcony. The furnishings in the room were good, everything you need was there. We also ate at Casa JPI in the evening. The food was delicious and the owner is very hospitable.

“Perfect stay”

A tiny clean hotel with fantastic views in a fishing village, a five-minute drive from the airport and a 15-minute drive from Mindelo. The owner is very accomodating and caring. We were helped with everything we needed in the hotel and outside: swimming with the turtles, the bus to Mindelo and a tour around the island.
