“An outstanding stay + beach, relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff, and a wonderfully peaceful setting”
I stayed at the Eco-Aquiles Hotel for 10 nights and the beach could hardly have been better - just a 5–10 minute walk to a stunning 1.5 km long sandy beach. São Pedro is also much quieter, more relaxed, and altogether more peaceful compared to Mindelo. The weather was perfect, and the hotel staff were excellent throughout all 10 days: always available, helpful whenever you needed something, and housekeeping was done daily.

“Fantastic”
Fantastic room with very good bed, very clean and great breakfast. Very close too the beach, love it and want too come back. Swimming with the turtles was amazing.

“Nice location”
The location is good and near the beach. The bar at the entrance is nice. As we had an early flight home, the even served breakfast already at 06.30h.

“A very pleasant experience”
The hotel is nicely situated in the middle of the village. Quiet, clean, great breakfast and a very friendly and helpful staff: I would certainly recommend Aquilas!

“Very pleasant owner, clean and comfortable rooms in a minimalist style”
Due to our travel schedule, our stay at this hotel was only one night, but if we had time, we would definitely have stayed longer. Very pleasant owner, clean and comfortable rooms in a minimalist style. Plus, a beautiful large sandy beach just a few steps from the hotel.
