“Good option in SL thanks to the pool.”
Great pool to relax. Dorms are without bunk bed so this is great. Good location but during night time, you definitely need to be alert everywhere in the center.

It's a historical building but it provided all the basic. I stayed in a female dorm with all the beds were single beds which was comfortable enough. It's location was good as you could walk to the historic centre.

“Good for a night before flying out of Sao Luis”
I stayed in an 8 bed dorm with high ceilings, a perfectly working air con and very comfortable beds. All beds had a hook, a power outlet and a reading light. Both the lockers in the dorm and the bathrooms outside the dorm were spacious. The location in the historic district was great too.

“Not worth it, go somewhere else”
central location in historic center, if that’s what you like. Locals advised us to not stay in the center next time since it’s dangerous though.

The view from the balcony. The hostel was super clean. Amazing location right around the corner from the town square where there was music and a vibe. Staff were super friendly. Good lockers. Highly recommend

The hotel is located in the very center of the old city, close to the main attractions. The building is very old, which creates a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. I think this is the best hotel in the historical center. Although the furniture is not new, the air conditioner works, there is hot water, drinking cold water on the floor.
