The location is bad because it is in an abandoned area of the city, little movement, few nearby restaurants and strange people on the street. It not the safest place to stay, mainly if you're alone.

Lovely colonial feel to the hotel. Outside pool and courtyard area are a tranquil haven. Good sitting room area with shutters overlooking the courtyard. Lots of interesting quirky paintings and artefacts. Lovely big bedroom. Very powerful fans. Very good value for money

The host is very friendly and helpfull. The building is extremely charming, and well maintained. Breakfast is also possible, together with some transfer options to next popular tourist cities.
