This pretty candle-lit inn is in a restored country house in São João del Rei`s historical centre. It`s furnished sun terrace is surrounded by flowering gardens. Amazing place with beautiful rooms and an amazing breakfast. The hospitality and friendliness of the person working at the breakfast is exceptional!!! I loved her! People at the reception could learn from her - she really did everything to make sure the guests were enjoying themselves. I am sad to not remember her name, but she really deserves a raise! She is the heart of this place.

“Lovely stay in a peaceful but central location”
This Pousada is a lovely old style building, with a charming simple style. It felt very welcoming and quiet (too cold for the swimming pool when I stayed there, but I'm sure it's great in summer) and a perfect place to rest and soak in the sun or to travel around and enjoy the region. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times.

Magnífica casa, amueblada con gusto, cama muy cómoda, habitación silenciosa. Excelente desayuno e inmejorable ubicación. Piscina funcionando incluso en invierno.
