“The best atmosphere of Taiba!”
Really hospitality and friendly hosts (Joaquin and Max). The best tapioca for breakfast. Very convenient location, especially for surf and kite surf. Amazing atmosphere when you fill at home!

“Great kite Pousada with the friendliest hosts!”
We stayed 4 nights at Catavento and LOVED it! From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Maxi & Joaquin were so friendly and inviting they made our stay really special. We booked a basic room for 2 of us. The bed was big and super comfortable. We had a fan which suited our needs perfectly. The shower was powerful. We really liked the hammock and seating area in front of our room. The breakfast was delicious. Each morning there was fresh coffee, fruits, eggs, home made juice and more… we really enjoyed the breakfast each day. We were in Taiba to kitesurf so had a lot of gear with us. There is a HUGE kite storage room which was great as we could leave both board bags with all gear safely. We arrived without a car which was no problem as each day we were dropped off and collected by Maxi or Joaquin in their awesome combi van!- nothing was too much trouble- they were so kind and were happy to help us. We really liked the atmosphere at the Pousada, there are communal areas to relax and chat with other guests, and best of all- the owners were so friendly they made it a real special stay for us. We highly recommend a stay here. Next time we visit Taiba we will be stay again for sure. We can’t wait to see how the Pousada develops :) Thank you for hosting us and for being so kind.

“Lovely - I recommend!”
I absolutely loved staying at Pousada Catavento. Joaquin and Matias are super friendly and helpful and run this place with a lot of passion. The Pousada itself is lovely, with a spacious garden and a pool. I enjoyed the hammock and the little terrace each room has, as well as the privacy of the rooms. The location of the Pousada is amazing! Just a quick walk away from the beach and next to great restaurants. I hope to come back and can definitely recommend to stay here.
