I had a really lovely stay at this beach lodge and felt completely at ease from the moment I arrived. The whole team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. I stayed during Ramadan, which meant things were a bit quieter, but I actually really enjoyed that peaceful atmosphere. It felt like the perfect place to slow down, relax, and just enjoy being by the ocean. As a solo traveller, feeling safe and comfortable is really important to me, and I genuinely felt both throughout my stay. Everyone was kind, respectful, and made the environment feel very relaxed and easygoing. Overall, it was a really special place to spend a few days, and I’d happily stay here again if I return to The Gambia.

An idyllic beach side stay… the lodges are spacious enough and have comfy beds. The owner and staff are exceptional doing everything to make your stay special. The food is delicious.

If you are looking to chill on a good beach away from the package tourists, you can't get much better value than this beachfront accommodation. Rooms are fairly basic, but clean & comfortable, with a fan & mosquito net, though this wasn't needed when I was there. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Breakfast is good & other meals can be ordered too. Sun beds are free to use & relax on during the day

The location was perfect, nice & quiet, particularly at night. The sound of the sea was so soothing during the night, I had a very restful.sleep. The staff were brilliant snd very attentive

- Perfectly clean beach, well mainted by the staff. Wonderful breeze in the shadow under the palm trees makes spending a full day relaxing at the beach enjoying the ocean view the perfect activity to do. - Good water pressure in the shower when you tell the staff that you'd like to shower and they turn on the water pump. - Staff is extremely helpful in making your individual day excursions possible and is furthermore offering to organise drum classes, sport sessions, introduce you to local night life and concerts (especially on the weekends). Always asking how you are and immediate support when needed. - Breakfast with the perfect beach view and adapted to individual preferences. They offered lunch and dinner, too when ordered in advance. - Located far enough from the 'garage', the Sanyang beach center, to enjoy peace and silence. At the same time still close enough to participate in the night life activities.

This is a brilliant place to stay, the bungalows are clean, beds comfy breakfast is cooked to order and huge. The people working at the hotel are so welcoming and helpful, they quickly become friends. They arranged an airport transfer which was great value and very smooth. Recommend Kinkiliba to anyone to stay and relax or as a base to arrange trips. Thank you very much and see you next time!

Stayed here 3 nights, lovely quiet location right on the beach. The room was well decorated and comfortable, we could see the ocean from the room, nice gardens and very clean. The food was very fresh and well prepared. The staff here are wonderful and go above and beyond to assist you. Will definitely return. 10/10.
