In the Zona Colonial, very good accommodation. Simple, nicely decorated, safe, Clean room, two tables, fridge, two chairs, fridge, shelves. Ample space, no window to the outside. We loved the terrace, super friendly personnel, we really liked Judit,though she does not speak english, it was not a problem at all with translate. Communal kitchen has some equipement, we didnt need to use.

Excellent location in the Zona Colonial, right in the city center near a pedestrian street, yet very quiet. Everything is close by — sights, shops, cafés, and restaurants. The room had a small fridge with two bottles of water, which was very welcome. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bed was comfortable, and the whole place felt calm and relaxing. This was actually my second stay here, and the experience was just as good as the first time. The lady at reception was extremely kind and helpful. Because I was leaving very early in the morning, she assisted me again, walked downstairs with me, and waited with me for my Uber. I really appreciated how caring and attentive she was. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Santo Domingo. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.

Perfect location and very safe accommodation. Here is all you need and always family onsite. I used Google translation to communicate as I don’t speak Spanish but that was no problem. Close to local bus guagua so I went to Boca Chica beach. Uber is easy to use but all attractions are near by. Colonial district is a nice place to stay.

What a wonderful time I had here. I was made to feel like part of the family. The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. I loved being able to use the shared kitchen and a lovely shared balcony. Definitely my number one place to stay in Santo Domingo. And incredibly good value for money.

Excellent location, I would say the best to stay in zona colonial. Basic facilities but best value for money. The staff is nice and welcoming.

The location is perfect and great value, the family running it absolutely wonderful. Small wonder so many expats living elsewhere in the DR stay there regularly when in the capital. Evidently you can't expect 5star luxury for 21 € per night, but all is comfy, the retro decor funky and the large shared balcony an additional plus for relaxation. Great to have a private fridge and kitchen access, though we only used it to make coffee during our short stint. Thanks again for waiting until 1 a.m. because our flight was late.

“The place doesnt look like anything on advert”

“THEY CAN'T HAVE A HOTEL IF THEY DON'T KNOW HOW IT WORKS”

Due to a shower problem, they couldn't accommodate me the first night and gave me a very ugly, low-class hotel. They don't understand how booking policies work when faced with these types of issues, and I had to pay for that night at the bad hotel. They also asked me to check out the day before my reservation because they got upset when I tried to explain how the booking platform's policies worked.

We loved our stay here. The place isn't fancy but its quite charming and fantastic value. The owners don't speak English but are very friendly. The pictures are accurate, the bed is comfortable, and the location is excellent in Ciudad Colonial just around the corner from the main pedestrian street. We also appreciated the shared kitchen and balcony to make meals there. Highly recommended.
