“Very basic, but clean and secure. Dim lighting in the rooms, but good wifi.”
Well, if you must stay in Santo Domingo, you sure don't want to pay a lot. This was a fair price. The wifi was solid. The front desk person was excellent, met me at the door and insisted on carrying my bag. If you can avoid Santo Domingo, I would. I was out exploring, I went so you don't have to. There are no good restaurants in walking distance that I could find. That's not the hotel's fault. AC worked well. Hot water in the shower was good.

Was perfect oasis to come back to after being out in the wild, lound streets of Santo Domingo. Johnathan at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. He showed us to a delicious ice cream parlor. He has strong guest service skills.
