Very charming pousada. We loved the natural design, the vegetation, lighting. The ambiance music. Such a relaxed and cozy feeling. Dinner options were lovely, nice restaurant. Pool area and mirante are lovely to take drink. Very friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable. Great shower with decent pressure. Interestingly no mosquitoes, although we were prepared. Our kids were not happy about the lacking aircon, we were good with the fans in our bedroom.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at! The rooms are stunning — designed with a rustic and eco-friendly vision that truly made our stay unforgettable. The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us not only with organizing tours but also with some car issues we encountered. We can't wait to come back and stay here again!

The accommodation was like a little oasis, just magical. The pool area, the hammocks, the aesthetic of the room was just divine! The staff were very accommodating and the facilities were always very tidy and well-maintained. A wonderful place to stay - thanks!!!

Pretty facilities, nice swimming pool, surrounded by trees, nice vibe, close to the centre. Careful, last 100 m to the pousada can only be driven by 4x4.

I loved the atmosphere at Vila do Junco! Bar and pool areas are super comfortable to spend the day, bungalows have their own balcony with hamac and offer privacy. The restaurant serves good food. Concierge is reactive on whatsapp to help you out

very helpful staff, awesome single houses as accommodation with small terrace and hammock in front of each unit, nice pool area, trips can be arranged directly via Vila do Junco, already the drive to the Vila do Junco with the 4x4 is an unforgettable experience

“Beautiful but hard to get to”

It was gorgeous, the villa itself felt very jungle-y and it was very authentic. The staff were nice and it was very close to the national park which they put us on a tour for the next day very easily. There's lots of animals around which made it seem very out of the way
