Charly treated me like family from the moment I booked until he helped load my bags into the shuttle. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and very well looked-after. Charly has a great deal of pride in his beautiful hostel. The bed was very comfortable with good-quality pillows and the room was clean and nicely decorated. The showers were of good size (not small like many Chilean showers). The neighbourhood has an excellent, boho night life with small, intimate local bars and restaurants that are open late. Despite this, the property is on a quiet and secure residential street. In addition to being a great host, Charly also generously held my bags at the hostel while I explored Santiago on my final day, and helped me trouble-shoot my airport ride.

Very good communication upfront. Very good breakfast, most of it homemade by the host. Clean room, bathroom and living room. Kitchen could be better. Also the payment options are very flexible.

Charly is a one of the best hosts we had. Caring about us even before we got there, making sure we had a safe arrival. He gave us lots of good advices and was super responsive when we had any questions. Beds are very comfy, rooms are clean, very good and warm shower. Charly makes very tasty breakfast, cakes and even crafted a puppy for our kid.

Charly and Federico were excellent. I arrived at 2am and Charly had waited up for me so I had a warm welcome. He also had a lot of good advice for places to go and eat.

Great room for the price, nicely furnished and equipped with a fan, some furniture (not always guaranteed at hostels!), a cupboard etc. Bathrooms were clean. Use of shared kitchen area and friendly staff. Barrio Italia is lovely, very gentrified and therefore a bit pricey but a nice place to be based. The Fugazetta at the Argentinian pizza place is amazing

Federico was a wonderful host, everything is super clean thanks to Veronica, location is a short walk from tottus and barrio italia, felt like we were in a hotel when we had our sheets and towels changed! Bathroom is luxury and common areas are comfy and homely.

“A cozy stay in the heart of Santiago”

The house is located in a very peaceful and pleasant neighborhood, with excellent options in the vicinity (grocery store, pharmacy, etc.). I felt like I was in a family home, very cozy. The room is of a decent size, with a comfortable bed and pillows; I was able to have great nights of sleep. The bathroom is large and spacious, the shower has good water pressure and temperature (which was great during these cold days), and furthermore, it also has a towel dryer (which also serves as a heater for the bathroom). The kitchen has all the necessary equipment in case you want to cook something, along with a large refrigerator with space for all guests to store their items, each with their numbered compartment. Federico is a very friendly and attentive person, he sent the information about the house two days in advance, providing all the step-by-step instructions to access the accommodation and use the facilities.

Our host Federico was extremely helpful and responsive. He helped us to organise the next leg of our trip because we ran into some troubles. He was really easy to contact and accommodated our checkin. The facilities were clean, neat and spacious. Wifi worked really well including in the room and the location was in a safe neighbourhood. We took the bus quite easily to get into the plaza de armas. And were very close to a large supermarket and the barrio Italia which had heaps of fantastic restaurants and good food!

It had everything necessary for a great stay. We wanted to go for a day of skiing and the host basically arranged the whole thing for us which was very kind.
